Course Description
This course covers the steps you should implement in your workforce or workplace to comply with current UK employment legislation.
The Health & Safety Executive is the UK governmental body responsible for ensuring standards. They suggest that equal attention be paid to mental health first aid as to physical health first aid. Their guidance can be found in this link
It is claimed that 75% of workers will not declare a condition for fear of discrimination (Radar 2010)

The course alone will take just over one hour. The course is interspersed with quizzes to ensure you can grasped the concept. You can retake the quizzes as many times as you like but a pass mark of 75% or above is needed for CDP accreditation
By the end of the session, you will:
Have gained a detailed and insightful introduction to Neurodiversity, and a greater understanding of neurodiversity, to help create positive learning environments for all service users.
Have a fool proof strategy to build better relationships with the neurodivergent community , know how to unlock their potential, and help them achieve the very best that they are capable of.
Understand how traditional ‘autism awareness training’, language, and the stereotypes that come with them are, and should be, a thing of the past, and how we can work together to remove them.
Understand what neurodivergent people actually struggle with – not what others think we struggle with.
Take an acceptance rather than ‘awareness’-based approach, and be in a position to offer a real alternative to the outdated traditions that have long restricted and impeded neurodivergent people.
And most of all, appreciate that neurodivergent people are already wonderful and incredible.
